Summer Camp 2017

BestOfBoston

Keep active, learn something new and have fun all summer long!

Competitive fencing is one of the fastest-growing sports in North America, and, as witnessed by the sound of weapons clanging and people of all ages, lunging and parrying in our studio – Cambridge just might be the next home to a future Olympic champion!

Olympia Fencing Center coaches consists of world-class fencing masters and professional educators. All our instructors make learning fencing fun and enjoyable, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

This summer, our center offers both Epee and Foil sessions, during the months of July and August, for six consecutive weeks.

Weather permitting, in the mornings we’ll take the kids to the nearby Fresh Pond Reservation, for warming up, fitness and games.

Lunch break will follow at 11:30 AM, during which time we’ll run fencing related movies on our big screen TV: Zorro, The Princess Bride, etc.

The rest of the camp day will consist of fencing bouts, learning the rules, find out about the electrical scoring system, fencing refereeing and ranking system.

Every week we’ll conclude with a fencing tournament, medals will be awarded and pizza party will end the day.
