Pomme de Terre Fencing
This June,15/16th, the 25th annual Pomme de Terre has been held at the prestigious Brandeis University, in Waltham, Massachussetts.

As many as 94 of the strongest New England epeists crossed weapons in Men’s Epee event, 12 of whom from Olympia Fencing Center.
Our participation to the event included most of our competitive fencers for all the Epee events, including Teams.
After two long fencing days, Olympia proved once more that we’re here to stay and make a difference in the New England’s Fencing and not only.

Overall, Olympia Fencing Center has won:

Gold medal – Ingrid Ma, Women’s E and under
SilverMark Elbag, Men’s Senior
4th place in the Teams event, Women’s
5th place, Alejandra Trumble – Senior Women’s
5th place, Men’s Teams
5th place – Max Gladstone, Men’s E and under.

Other notable highlights:

Top 25 in Senior Women’s epee (Ale Trumble, Ingrid Ma, Natalia Stavisky, Cristina Gordet).
Top 25 in E and under Men’s epee (Max Gladstone, Onno Hommes, Brad kain, Ben Hazell, Daniel Jordan).
Top 15 in Women’s e and under (Ingrid Ma, Angelica Brisk, Ariana Mikhah, Robin Cheung).

A great weekend of fencing and great results – we thank you all for your hard work and we’re proud to be the fencing home to such strong fencers and wonderful people!!!
