Pre-Nationals Épée Clinic for ages 9-14

July Session for Youth Competitive Fencers

Every year, the Fencing Summer Nationals start on the last days of June, and take off with more advanced levels, like Junior, Senior, Div 1, leaving the Youth events toward the end.

Olympia Fencing Center is glad to announce a three-day training session for all youth fencers ages 9-14 who want to continue practicing before the competition days, and prepare for their most important event of the season!

Dates: July 1-3, 2025
Hours: 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Cost: $390 full camp (or $140 per day)
Note: only a $100.00 deposit is required for registration (pay the rest at the time of the camp).

Description

Three days of intensive practice will put you in top shape for the Summer Nationals!

Head Coaches Sello Maduma OLY, and David Abdelmalak, former Egyptian National Team coach.
Assistant Coaches
Rodaina Gaafar: African Champion in junior, cadet, and teams divisions, 2019/2020, and UWI – NCAA Women’s Epee team 2021-24.
Ben Rogak: former assistant Coach, Men’s Epee, Brandeis University.

This clinic will focus on sharpening tactics, refining technique, and building a competition mindset—all in a high-energy, supportive environment.
Fencers will train alongside other dedicated athletes, gaining valuable experience through structured drills, footwork, sparring, and strategy sessions tailored to national-level preparation.

$140 per day or $390 full camp

Optional Add-On:

Private lessons with our top coaches are available during the clinic at an additional cost — a great opportunity for one-on-one attention to fine-tune individual skills before the big event.

Our Cambridge location features a free, ample parking available in front of the building and includes:

  • a waiting room equipped with a large fridge and coffee corner;
  • 13 fencing strips laid over 5000 SF, custom build on foam blocks for shock absorption fencing floor;
  • high-ceiling, large windows, fully air-conditioned space
  • two large unisex changing rooms;
  • a full armory
  • fencing gear/weapons/blades for sale.
