Olympia’s Daniel Zhang wins the Juniors Men’s event, among 319 best foil fencers in the US!!
Daniel was one of the youngest athletes in the competition, he is only 15 years old and he’s training with coaches Kai Zhao and Shuang Meng since 2012.
Besides Daniel, 18 of Olympia’s fencers have placed in top 64, and four made top 16 in all individual events, over a course of four days.
Ever since our first generation of fencers has grown enough to be able to participate in this Cadet and Juniors annual competition, Olympia brings home a Gold medal every year.
