Introducing the Homeschoolers Fencing League!
Classes for beginners, ages 8-12
Participating in organized sports teams is an excellent way to interact with peers who share similar interests and develop lifelong skills.
Leadership, confidence, team-building, agility, coordination, decision-making – these are only a few of the personal traits that fencing teaches in a fun and safe environment.
Finding and connecting with other families in your area can be a fantastic resource for your family.
Your child can find friends who are also homeschooled, you can get support from other homeschooling parents, and keep your children healthy and happy, both physically and mentally.
The Homeschoolers Fencing League will consist of two teams: Cambridge and Newton.
Fencers of different ages will practice mornings during the week, from August 1st to July 31st, each season. Several competitions will be held during the season, pitting the two locations against each other and featuring both individual and team events.
For the individual events, medals and points will be awarded. A rolling point system will be set up, and the winners will be awarded the season’s trophy.
We believe that this will be a great start to the Interclubs Fencing Homeschoolers League of Massachusetts!
Our hope is that by creating these programs, more children and teens will have the opportunity to discover a great sport, regardless of body type or age, and form lasting friendships and a strong team spirit.

What we offer:

- A fencing floor custom-built on foam blocks is among the few in the country that stands up for only a part of our care and devotion toward our students, preventing common sports-specific injuries and keeping them fencing safely and pain-free.

Price: $165.00/month for one weekly session.
