Olympia Fencing Center is the second-largest épée club in the USA and the most successful fencing center in the Northeastern region.
Our students hold multiple national and world titles, as well as an Olympic medal!
We are the primary feeder for the NCAA and Ivy League colleges in the New England Division of Fencing.
Fencers from around the world train with us while visiting Boston, creating long-lasting friendships and connections with the fencing world.
Both our locations in Cambridge and Newton, MA, feature over 6,500 SF of space, 12-foot-high ceilings, 16 electrical fencing strips, and custom-made shock-absorbing fencing floors to ensure the safety and well-being of our fencers.
Founded and directed by former Romanian National and European Champion Daniel Hondor, our stellar team of coaches includes fencing Olympians and highly qualified international coaches who are recipients of O1 Visas for excellence in their fields.
Olympia Fencing Center offers the lowest student/coach ratio in the country. Our classes are closely supervised, and the students are moved throughout programs exclusively based on merit.
Excellent team communication and highly organized programs have consistently yielded outstanding results over the years.
Our extensive recreational programs for teens and adults in the country cater to people of all ages, from high schoolers to young professionals in the Greater Boston area, as well as fencing enthusiasts and their parents.
In addition to the recreational fencing, our club hosts the largest adult competitive group in New England, attracting top fencers from around the country and the world to our highly popular Sunday open bouting.
If you are like the thousands who fell in love with this sport, our fencing club will become your second home. At Olympia, we take that responsibility seriously. Our fencers are competitors – and best friends. There are no age barriers, skill barriers, or shyness.
