Learn something new, and have fun this summer!
About Our Camps
Fencing is one of the fastest-growing sports in North America, and if you haven’t tried it yet, summertime is the best time to start!
Olympia Fencing Center coaches comprise world-class fencing masters and professional educators, all CORI- and SafeSport-certified.
We make learning fencing fun and enjoyable in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
Our fencing camps are designed for children aged 8-13, with some or no prior fencing experience, of all athletic levels.
Full fencing gear is provided.
The campers are grouped by age and level, and both fencers and non-fencers are welcome!
Please note that the Olympia Fencing Center is an Épée-exclusive fencing club.
Our summer camps are offered at our Cambridge location; an email with the camp preparation details will be sent the week before the camp.
The camps require a minimum of 10 registered participants per day; otherwise, the camp will be canceled, and the deposit will be fully refunded or applied to another camp week or other services (such as classes and memberships).

What to Expect
Our mornings kick off with light warm-ups and games that sneak in footwork without you realizing you’re learning anything. Coaches break everything down—how to move, how to hold the weapon, how to not trip over your own feet—using simple drills and lots of encouragement. No pressure, no yelling, just plenty of “ohhh, that makes sense now” moments.
By midday, you’re learning basic attacks and defenses, practicing with partners in short, playful bouts. There’s laughter when blades clash, high-fives after a clean touch, and zero embarrassment if you miss completely (everyone does). Safety gear makes it feel adventurous without being scary.
Afternoons often mix fencing with fun challenges—team relays, reaction games, mini-tournaments where the emphasis is cheering loudly rather than winning. Coaches share cool fencing trivia and Olympic stories that make you feel like you’ve joined a secret, swashbuckling club.
The camp week concludes with a fencing tournament, medal awards, and a pizza party.
