Musketeers/Kids Learn to Fence Program Description
Class fees
– $165.00/month – one 60-minute class per week.
– $250.00/month – two, one-hour classes per week
– $295.00/month – three classes per week
Fencing gear can be rented or purchased; rentals start at $10/month.

Class Description
Discover the Olympic sport of fencing!
Learn the basics of fencing, camaraderie, and team spirit, while having tons of fun.
Musketeers: ages 7-9
Kids Learn to Fence: ages 10-12
The classes are organized by age and include speed and agility games, basic stances, lunges, target practice, and fencing activities.
We use REAL (electronic) fencing equipment.
Students can stay in this class until they are moved to a more advanced program (by invitation or request) or age out.
First class is always FREE.

What to wear
Long, sporty pants, clean sneakers, T-shirt, bring a water bottle (filtered water is available for refills), and your smile!
Please: no dresses, loose clothing, no open-toe shoes or boots of any kind.

5 mins: Structured Run/Active Stretching
10 mins: Footwork
10 mins: Suit Up
25 mins: Drills/Fencing

Musketeers
- One weekly class
- Rent your fencing gear.
- Add a second session after a few months, and consider investing in your fencing gear.
- Add a private lesson at anytime.
- Attend our in-club D’Artagnan Series for Novice Fencers as soon as you join the club.
Youth Learn to Fence
- Two weekly sessions and a private lesson.
- Rent your fencing gear and consider buying it after a few months.
- Attend our in-club D’Artagnan Series for Novice Fencers as soon as you join the club.
The students can stay in this class until
- They age-out.
- They are promoted to a more advanced level.
Note
All students participating in any of our club’s programs must have a basic “Access” type USFA membership. Membership must be renewed at the start of each new season (August 1st).
Free trials must sign a liability waiver.
