Three times NCAA medalist, Emily Vermeule wins the 2024 Women’s Épée title!
We are extremely proud of our former students that continue achieving great results during their college years.
For the fourth time consecutively, since 2021, both our boys and girls have been selected and won medals at the NCAA for their college teams.

One qualified Men’s Épée: Robert Hondor – Bronze medal

Two qualified in both Men’s and Women Épée: Gabriel Feinberg – Gold medal, Emily Vermeule – Silver
2023

March Madness 2024 – NCAA Fencing
As many as 144 competitors from twenty-four NCAA member institutions competed in this year’s March Madness Fencing Championship.
Held at the Ohio State’s French Field House, in Columbus, Ohio, the 2024 National Collegiate Fencing Championships included Men’s and Women’s events in each of the three weapons (12 events in total)
The NCAA format is different form the regular fencing competitions:
- Fencers participate in a round-robin format of five-touch bouts.
Women’s Round results here. - After the round robin, the top-four finishers in each weapon fence in semifinal 15-touch bouts.
- Top four winners fence each other in each Men’s and Women’s, to determine first and second places.
Women’s final four results. - Non-advancing fencers are awarded a tie for third place.

Fencing for Harvard University, Emily finishes number two overall after the three round robin rounds, and wins in the final four 5-6 (St. John) and respectively, 5-10 (Columbia)

An institution’s place finish in the championships will be based on points earned by each individual. A team will be awarded one point for each victory by its student-athletes during round-robin competition.
