Covid-19 Information
The COVID-19 has fundamentally transformed our lives, businesses, and communities.
March 2022 marks two years since the worldwide pandemic outbreak.
During the three months of total lock-down, March to May, our coaches have been working long hours from home to offer unlimited Zoom classes for our members.
We were thrilled to re-open in June of 2020, with a safety plan in place to ensure our students’ and staff’s safety and well-being.
Since our June 2021 reopening, all staff members have been tested weekly, and with the help and support of our fencing families, who closely communicated with us and followed the safety rules and Quarantine Protocols in line with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website, we were able to continue fencing in person, in the club.
As of May 2021, all coaches and staff members were fully vaccinated.
The fewer outside-related cases have been swiftly addressed, thanks to our amazing families and fencing community.
As of March 13, 2022, the City of Cambridge has lifted the mask mandate in public places. Face masks are no longer required for all non-competitive classes or the parents in the lobby. Those who prefer to keep wearing them, are welcome to do so.
All competitive classes will keep the face masks on under their fencing mask, until the USA Fencing Association and FIE will lift the mask mandate during national and international competitions.
We’d like to thank you all again for helping us keep the club open during these two tough and unforgettable years!
