Gold, Silver, Bronze at the Pomme De Terre 2014
Olympia Fencing Center has been, again, top winner at the 26th Pomme de Terre, held at Brandeis University, Gosman Sports Center, in Waltham, MA, on June 15, 2014.
Olympia had as many as nine fencers in top 32 and the girls, eight – largest participation among all the club’s in New England!
Here are the medalists:
- Xavier Ghazaleh has won 1st place in E and Under Men’s Epee competition and earned his D rating!
- Olympia’s Men’s Team – Iliya Mechkov, George Scott and Kevin Foley – won the Silver in the Teams event!
- Warm congratulations to Christine Feagans, winning Bronze in Senior’s Women’s Epee and earning her A rating!!
- In Senior Men’s Epee, Zach Boynton placed 8th, also earning his A rating.
Great weekend for the club – congratulations to all winners as well as to their coaches, we’d like to thank all the present families for their tremendous support, as well as to our young D’Artagnans, for visiting us on the site and cheering out loud!!
