New Covid-19 Guidelines for Club Members
Our club is following the City of Cambridge guidance regarding the Covid-19 disease.
As of March 13, 2022, the City of Cambridge has lifted the mask mandate in public places. Face masks are no longer required for all non-competitive classes or the parents in the lobby. Those who prefer to keep wearing them, are welcome to do so.
All competitive classes will keep the face masks on under their fencing mask, until the USA Fencing Association and FIE will lift the mask mandate during national and international competitions.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone in areas of high or substantial COVID-19 transmission wear face coverings when in indoor public places, public transportation, and other institutions, regardless of vaccination status.
Here are the new Covid-19 club guidelines
Fencing masks are no longer required in the club common areas and fencing floor, but all those who want to wear one are welcome.
