Seven Medals in Dallas, at the North American Cup
Athletes ages 12 to 80 and over were gathered this December, at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, in Dallas, to fence for over 42titles, in Epee, Foil and Saber.

Miles Chamley-Watson (New York City, N.Y. / foil), 2012 Olympian and 2013 SeniorWorld Champion
Nicole Ross (New York City, N.Y. / foil), 2012 Olympian and four-time Senior WorldTeam member
Ben Bratton (New York City, N.Y. / epee), 2012 Senior World Team Champion
Ibtihaj Muhammad (Maplewood, N.J. / saber), 2014 Senior World Team Champion
Margaret Lu (Greenwich, Conn. / foil), two-time Senior World team member
Jason Pryor (Colorado Springs, Colo. / epee), two-time Senior World Team member

Anna Van Brummen (Houston, Texas / epee), 2014 Senior World Team member.In addition to featuring 2016 Olympic hopefuls, the December NAC is the first qualifying event of the new season for athletes looking to compete at the 2015 Veteran World Championships for athletes ages 50 and older.
11 individual Veteran World Medalists will fence in this events, including Olympia’s Cristina Gordet, 2013 World Vets Bronze medalist,WE.
Sixteen of Olympia’s best fencers, ten women and six men, have fenced in nine of these events and brought a total of five medals for their club as well as three very notable 9th places:
Cristina Gordet – Silver in Vet. Women’s Epee
Iliya Mechkov – Bronze in Vet. Men’s Epee
Natalia Staviskey – Bronze, Vet. 50 Women’s Epee
Cristina Gordet – 5th place, in the same event
David Hitchcock – 8th, in Vet.40 Men’s Epee
Kevin Foley – 9th, same event
Natalia Stavisky – 9th place in Veterans Women’s Epee
Iliya Mechkov – 9th in Div.l, Men’s Epee – a hard worked result, among a plethora of US best epee fencers.
